The Nucleus: EFF ‘26 Venue

The Nucleus Building, at the heart of the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings - the STEM Campus - is the site of the first ever Edinburgh Fungi Festival. Aside from winning numerous architectural awards, this building is fully accessible (more information below) and is a short walk from nearby parks - perfect for forays!

Accessibility

  • Step-free level access is provided at the main entrances.

  • Three lifts access all floors, with a large goods lift capable of accommodating mobility scooters.

  • Accessible, gender-neutral toilets are located across multiple levels.

  • All lecture theatres are step-free or ramp-accessible and feature designated spaces for wheelchair users.
